Switch from Paprika to Krydda

What stops people leaving a recipe app is never the new app. It is the fear of losing the years they put into the old one. Krydda reads the Paprika export file directly, so the library comes with you.

How the import works

Krydda looks at what is actually inside the file, not at what it is called. A renamed file still imports, and picking the wrong app in the list cannot corrupt the result. The Paprika format is .paprikarecipes.

No AI in the import path. It costs no AI credits and gives the same result every time you run it.

How to do it

  1. Open Paprika on your computer or phone and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Export, then “Export All Recipes (.paprikarecipes)”.
  3. Save the file somewhere your phone can reach it.
  4. Open Krydda, go to Settings and choose Import from another app.
  5. Pick Paprika from the list and point it at the file.
